Larissa and Cameron had a beautiful outdoor wedding in Southern California, at Lake Oak Meadows. The wedding brought guests from all over the world, and the event felt like a weekend long family & friend reunion. It was a true celebration, and an honor to be a part of such a fun event.

Hi Everyone!

It has been a busy and fun last few months, and the blog has been neglected. I just wanted stop in and write a short note to let you know I’m still here, and that blog posts will start showing up again next week. I have a lot of catching up to do, and some work that I am very excited to share with you all. I’ve included just a few teasers!

Grace & Noah were married at her family’s beautiful country home on a gorgeous evening. It was a perfect day and night, that came together with beautiful details, an intimate location, perfect weather, and great people. Noah and Grace were relaxed throughout the day giving the wedding a very natural feel, and making it fun for everyone involved.

Beautiful details were the handy work of close friends and family.

Carrie and David | Camano Island, Washington Wedding.

This was a special wedding for me and meant being in my home town with people I have known my whole life. Carrie and David had a beautiful mid morning wedding followed by a lovely outdoor brunch at the bride’s family home on Camano Island. Here are just a few photos of the happy couple from the day. Suzie & Jonny were married this June in Postville, Iowa.

They had a beautiful intimate wedding, with close friends and family, in Suzie’s home town. It was a pleasure to photograph the event, and a great weekend hosted by Suzie’s family; thanks so much for the hospitality. Congratulations! Stacie and Marcus were married at the beautiful Glen Echo Garden, just outside of Bellingham, Washington.

Both Marcus and Stacie and great friends of mine, and it was an honor to get to be a part of the day. I love these two and the wedding party was a great group as well. We had fun getting these images, from following them into streams to being pushed around the dance floor with camera in hand it was fun – I may have even choked up during the speeches. It rained right up until we headed out for photos, clearing up to be perfect all day. The boots were ready though just in case, and came in handy for photos.

I really like everyone in this wedding party, and this photo. They all made the entire day a blast.

The Civil Wars:

I love live music, so getting to shoot bands usually doesn’t feel like work. When I heard I would have the pleasure of meeting one of my favorites, The Civil Wars, I was very excited. Amanda & Giezi are married, after an amazing weekend wedding in Baja, Mexico.

Amanda & Giezi are both very fun and caring people, and they know how to put on a good wedding. Festivities began a few days before the wedding, and included good food, plenty of sun, bocce ball,  and a group of awesome people, all making the whole event a blast to be a part of.

Much thanks to both of their families for their generous hospitality and fun times shared! Here are a few photos and my attempt at summarizing our time together. Congratulations Amanda and Giezi.

A little relaxation was key to making this wedding what it was, the location, delicious food and tasty drinks all made it easy to do just that.
